LATHER at IHMRS 2012

New video from LATHER at the International Hotel, Motel & Restaurant Show, IHMRS 2012.

About LATHER:

When we ask, “How can I help you?” it’s not just a polite query. There are no “off days” in hospitality, and we take your business – as well as your guests – as seriously as we take our own. That’s why we guarantee a world class experience, from the time you place your first order until guests leave your property, impressed and indulged by LATHER.

Emilie Davidson Hoyt founded LATHER in 1999 after finding that her migraine headaches were caused by synthetic ingredients in personal care products. Beginning with a sincere desire to share the healing and restorative properties of natural botanicals, LATHER has become synonymous with healthy skin and hair care. From our retail stores to exclusive spas to the world’s finest hotels, you’ll find the LATHER name associated only with partners who share our commitment to providing a superior customer experience. Our company is rooted in making every day more radiant, and we work to exceed the expectations one might have from a traditional amenity company.

From check-in to check-out, each guest should feel like the most important guest. A discerning traveler will recognize LATHER from Vanity Fair, InStyle and Allure; however, they won’t find us on the shelves of mass merchandisers or at their local mall. You want your guests to feel like they’ve had a special experience, and LATHER can deliver branded amenities that echo your sense of
discernment.

SUNDEK at IHMRS 2012

About Sundek:

Today, there are hundreds of companies across America that resurface concrete pool decks, patios, driveways and walkways. But there aren’t many who can say they helped start and shape an industry. Since 1970, when brothers from Southern California invented it, SUNDEK has been the foremost experts in decorative concrete resurfacing. We’ve resurfaced everything from airports to carports… Five star hotels to two bedroom homes.SUNDEK transforms your visions into reality with colors, textures and design combined with the economy, durability and strength of concrete. We stand behind every SUNDEK surface so that you can stand on it …for years to come.

Today SUNDEK and its dealer network standalone, as the standard for the decorative concrete industry. SUNDEK’S success generated many competitors, each striving to reach the quality of the SUNDEK dealer program. We now have a large network of strong, quality conscious dealers, both in the United States with the ability to service our international clients as well (US Naval Base- Bahrain).

SUNDEK stands as the only deck coating material to receive widespread public approvals in all climate conditions ranging from the state of Florida, the city of Los Angeles to the state of Illinois. It is accepted by testing authorities and specified daily by leading architectural firms and national account managers.

The combined workforce of the SUNDEK dealer program in the United States now installs between eighteen and twenty million square feet of SUNDEK each year. We are constantly researching and experimenting with new innovations in the cement and flooring business -  SunStampTuscanSunCanvasSunStone, SUNDEK Commercial Finish System, SUNDEK Aggregate Effects being the latest innovations introduced.

Combining the quality training of the dealers in the SUNDEK program along with the innovations in markets, chemistry and applications being constantly pursued, it is little wonder SUNDEK finds itself as the industry standard today – often copied but never equaled.

In the U.S., we are based in Lexington, KY and occupy a 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, a 33,000 sq. ft. administrative office, and a LEED Gold Certified, 44,000 sq. ft. R&D facility. Big Ass Fans has over 65,000 fans in operation in hundreds of different applications all over the world. Our dedicated team of engineers rigorously designs and tests every fan we build to ensure they are the most effective and reliable fans possible.

Our R&D facility enables us to develop fans such as our Powerfoil X2.0 for the industrial market, a fan that sets the standard for air circulation, safety, and durability. For the commercial and institutional markets, our Element and Isis fans use cutting-edge motor technology to merge space-age design with silent operation, allowing our customers to use them in applications as varied as schools, health clubs, auditoriums, and churches.

How Did You Come Up with That Name Big Ass Fans?

We started in 1999 as the HVLS Fan Company, but after 3 years in business we finally had to bow to the sentiments of our customers and concede that we do, in fact, design and manufacture some Big Ass Fans. It was therefore a natural step to change our name to Big Ass Fan Company, and to “adopt” our mascot, Fanny the Donkey, shortly thereafter.
